screen print pricing guide

Below is a general breakdown of how screen printing works. Please read the diagram carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

There is an ink addative that allows the ink to puff up after it has been cured. To add this to the project, there is a 1 time fee of $25 to any order.

PUFF ADDITIVES

We can add an ink softener that lowers the viscosity of the ink, resulting in a very soft but low opacity print.  This process is great for the washed out, distressed look.

SOFT HAND ADDITIVES

We have a wide variety of items to choose from. These prices are based on a standard 50/50 Midweight Tee. Other garments may change the price depending on the garment.

additional locations

The following charges apply when printing on the back or sleeve in addition to the front of the garment. If you are adding a back and a sleeve, double the cost below, if adding a back and both sleeves, triple it (you get the idea).

Screens are created for each color in each print location in the design. We charge a one-time fee of $15 per screen that is waived on re-orders placed within a year. This means if you place an order and re-order same job every year, you will never have to pay for your screens again after the initial charge. Here is an example of how screen fees are calculated: 2 color print on the front, 1 color print on the back. (2 color + 1 color) * $15 = $45 setup fee.

PANTONE MATCHING

With Pantone’s color formula guides, software, and the use of digital scales we can create accurate custom color mixes based on the weight of each color component super accurately. If you need a custom mix on your next job just let us know!  For optimal matching when screen printing we recomend using Pantone’s coated or uncoated systems. $25

INK COLOR CHANGES

If at any time we have to change the ink color on the palette, there is a $15 fee to clean the screen and apply a new color. Here is an example of how color change fees are calculated: 2 color design, made in 4 colors (change ink 6 times) * $15 = $90 fee.
